（中央社記者謝佳珍台北4日電）有報載指總統馬英九曾怒斥「之前沒去太平島，已經很給老美面子了」；總統府發言人馬瑋國今天說，總統並未有相關發言，該報導虛構不實、挑撥台美關係。
馬總統日前登太平島。自由時報今天報導，外交人士透露，去年12月中，前美國白宮國安會亞洲事務資深主任麥艾文（Evan Medeiros）來台訪問時在一場演講表示，馬總統到太平島強調和平倡議，是「在錯誤的時間點傳達錯誤的信號」，還直言部分美國學者對台灣的南海「十一段線主張」持不同意見。
報載引述未具名消息來源指出麥艾文的談話惹怒馬總統，當時馬總統生氣地告訴部屬：「之前沒去（太平島），已經很給他們面子了，現在居然跑到這裡來繼續講！你們怎麼還建議我頒勳章給他（麥艾文）？太平島我是去定了。」
馬瑋國今天對此表示，特定媒體以「馬曾怒斥：之前沒去太平島，已經很給老美面子了」為標題，以不具名「外交人士」之言，虛構馬總統關於太平島議題相關談話。
她表示，馬總統並未有相關發言，媒體未盡查證之責；該報導虛構不實、挑撥台美關係，總統府深感遺憾。1050204
