民進黨正副總統當選人蔡英文、陳建仁22日中午宴請競選總部、黨中央工作人員，慰勞他們辛勞。蔡英文也根據日本習俗，勝選後，在競選總部的達摩翁點上右眼，而擔任司儀的黨部發言人阮昭雄也開玩笑說，現場已經有50萬人了。
蔡英文競總中午邀請競選幹部餐宴，並慰勞他們辛勞，也給競總的達摩翁點睛。而總部這尊達摩翁是去年蔡英文訪日時，台僑贈送的。依習俗，點睛後，則需將該尊達摩翁送回日本火化。
雖然22日的活動沒對外公開、也沒有媒體在場。不過，在點睛儀式時，還是比照競選晚會一樣，高喊蔡英文凍蒜、凍蒜。阮昭雄還搞笑說，現場已經來了數百家媒體，國內外都有，也謝謝在場的50萬人。
